Patient & Family Stories

The Staff Makes Every Day Better: Robert’s Story

“I wanted to take a moment to express my appreciation for the excellent treatment I received after my hip replacement procedure. I cannot imagine a more pleasant or dedicated rehab staff. They not only worked with me but also challenged me. As soon as I got to my comfort level, they insisted on going to the next level.

The occupational therapy staff was important to my success, especially building my upper body strength that served me well when I went from a walker to a cane. But just as important was the kind and cheerful environment they generated for patients.

Equal to the task of getting me where I am now was the nursing and nursing assistant staff. The nurses did more than deliver meds. They helped find the solution to my insomnia the first week. And they brought in my doctor when I was experiencing pain unrelated to the hip operation. I would look forward each morning to waking up to the nurses’ cheerful voices up and down the hall. It was the equivalent to waking upon the right side of the bed.”

A Husband’s Speedy Progress: Joan’s Story

“My husband was a rehab patient after having a knee replacement. We were quite impressed with the staff’s efficiency and friendliness. The nurses were awesome. And we can’t tell you how much progress my husband made since working with the physical therapy team. They are so professional and dedicated to getting their patients well and on their way to going home—they are “The Best.” Hats off to the dedicated employees you have on staff at Keswick.”

A Satisfied Patient Returns: Susan’s Story

“First I would like to tell you that Keswick has such special nurses, assistants, and physical therapists. They made me feel special and helped me to my recovery. I also made some new friends. Thank you for everything—I would like to start volunteering here and I even plan to be back in June for my other knee replacement.”
