Patient & Family Stories

A Family’s Peace of Mind: The Mackeys’ Story

“After watching my husband’s mental deterioration from Frontal Temporal Dementia, and then his hospitalization due to diabetes, I realized that my daughter and I could no longer care for him at home. Keswick Memory Care and their staff have given us the peace of mind that my family needed. They take care of everything, including all medications, insulin and well-planned meals. The facility is impeccably clean, spacious and bright with a safe outside garden courtyard. The staff is absolutely wonderful in making sure that each resident receives individual attention and that there are group activities that can be enjoyed by all.”

A New & Happy Home: The Meyers’ Story

Because of a fall and a broken hip, my mother has been unable to live independently as she had done for so many years. At her request, we moved her halfway across the country to Baltimore where her family is located. Despite the move from independent to assisted living and from the home she had known for 90 years, my mother has made the transition to Keswick Memory Care and feels part of the community in which she has settled in. Part of what has made a major transition so smooth has been the flexibility, attention, and personal care my mother has received from Keswick. She now lives contentedly at Keswick, in her private room which is filled with her memories and treasured items. Many thanks to Keswick for their help and understanding.”

The Calming Effect of Quality Care: The Teitelbaums’ Story

“Because of my mom’s dementia and behavioral problems we thought it would be impossible for any long-term care facility to cope with her, let alone improve her quality of life. How wrong we were! Thanks to the kindness, patience and professional skill of the Keswick Memory Care staff, my Mom is doing so well! Both my sister and I are grateful and relieved to see her calm, content and no longer irritable and aggressive.”
