Adult Day Services
Socialization and meaningful activities at an all-inclusive, affordable price
For adults with Alzheimer’s disease, memory impairment or other medical problems who wish to safely remain in the community, our Adult Day Services program is a smart and affordable eldercare alternative to long-term care placement.
With a Montessori approach, our care team provides security, engagement and activities that are individually tailored to a person’s interests. From group activities to one-on-one interaction, each day is designed to strengthen and reinforce the changing capabilities of each participant. Daily activities are targeted at different levels of function, from severely impaired overall function to only slight memory loss.
Adult Day Services includes:
- Initial assessment of service needs and an individualized plan of adult care
- Ongoing monitoring and assessment of medical and emotional needs by our specialized care team
- A wide range of therapeutic and social activities, such as yoga classes with a certified instructor and weekly day trips to local interest sites
- On-site rehabilitative services and specialized rehabilitation therapies
- A highly qualified, interdisciplinary team with expert knowledge of geriatric and dementia care—registered nurse, social worker, dietician, activities specialist and physical, occupational and speech therapists
- Assistance with daily living, bathing and incontinence care
- A continental breakfast, nutritious lunch and afternoon snacks that accommodate special diets and all taste buds
- Transportation available for those who live within Keswick’s service area
- Secure indoor and outdoor areas that safely provide freedom of movement
HOURS:
Monday – Friday
7:30 am – 5:30 pm
FEES
Participant charge per scheduled day – $83 (includes two-way transportation)
Late pick-up fee – $15 for every 15 minutes past 5:30 pm
Grants may be available for Adult Day Services to qualified applicants.
